Pastoral Residency

The goal of this internship is to raise up faithful pastors for God’s kingdom within the context of “lecture and lab.” “Lecture” will consist of reading, writing, and discussion of books pertaining to ministry, doctrine, and soul-care. The “lab” will be a training ground where the intern will put into practice what he has learned during the “lecture.” By offering an internship program, we hope to encourage and influence future pastors in their role in evangelical churches. Under supervision, interns will gain knowledge in the areas of pastoral leadership, shepherding, preaching, counseling, and evangelism.

Women's Residency

The Women's Ministry Residency program offers comprehensive training to prepare women for leadership roles in evangelical churches, by the hands -on learning at Park Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. Combining theological education with practical ministry experience, the program equips residents with a deep understanding of Scripture, doctrine, and theology, ensuring they are biblically grounded and theologically sound. Residents receive practical training in critical areas such as biblical teaching, counseling, leadership, evangelism, worship, and ecclesiology, gaining direct experience in leading teams, teaching, and providing care under the guidance of experienced mentors.

The program is designed to raise up spiritually mature women capable of leading with wisdom and compassion in a local church. Residents will also work closely with staff and elders at Park Baptist Church, serving members, counseling, studying, writing papers, teaching Scripture, attending conferences, engaging in outreach, and serving in missions. This residency prepares women for lifelong, impactful ministry.
