Elders

Dr. Dave Kiehn

Lead Pastor

Dave Kiehn serves as the Lead Pastor of Park Baptist Church, a role he has held since July 2012. He holds a B.A. in Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Masters of Divinity and Ph.D. in North American Missiology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Kiehn is also the author of over ten books. He is married to Ellen, and they have three children: Elizabeth, John David, and Olivia.

Rev. Daniel Huddleston

Associate Pastor

Daniel Huddleston serves in the role of Associate Pastor as well as that of elder. He served as a Lay Elder for a year before coming on staff in 2022. Daniel married his wife, Jen, in June of 2006. Together they have three daughters: Hannah, Chloe, and Lily. Daniel holds a B.A. from Liberty University in Religion and is currently working on his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves Dodger baseball and is an avid night owl.

Rev. John Whiteaker

Associate Pastor of College & Youth Ministry

John “Whit” Whiteaker is the Associate Pastor of College and Youth Ministry and an Elder at Park Baptist Church. He joined our staff in 2018 and became an Elder in 2023. Whit has been married to his wife, Jamie, since May of 2016. They have two boys: Levi and Ezra. Whit is a Rock Hill native, and loves spending time outside with his family. He also loves discipling, evangelizing, and has a heart for the nations.

Jason Brown

Lay Elder

Jason Brown and his family came to park in January of 2020. He is married to Danni Jo and they have 3 children: a son, William, and two daughters, Parker Jo and Joey Grace. In addition to serving as a lay elder, Jason has also served as a deacon and as a teacher in Wednesday night elementary classes. Jason is a native of Rock Hill and enjoys spending time with his family, golf, reading and pulling for the Clemson Tigers!

Simeon Indupalli

Lay Elder

Simeon Indupalli has served as an elder at Park Baptist Church since 2018. He is married to his wife, Janice, who serves as the Musical Worship Director at Park, and together they have two children, Sunaya and Jude. Simeon works in IT as an Architect in Fort Mill, South Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his family and meeting new people. Above all, it is his greatest joy to serve the Lord and His people with the gifts God has given him.

Jeff VeStrand

Lay Elder

Jeff and his wife, Jen, came to Park in November 2022. Jeff is the Director of Fatherhood Programs at the Palmetto Women’s Center and has served as a Lay Elder since May 2025. Jeff also leads worship, small groups, and book studies at Park, and he and Jen lead the Young Pros Sunday School class. Jeff has a BA in Behavioral Science and Psychology from Cedarville University and a Masters in New Testament Theology from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He is an avid sports fan and loves the Baltimore Orioles, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Miami Dolphins.

Staff

Jennie Shellenberger

Children's Ministry Director

Jennie Shellenberger is the Children’s Ministry Director at Park Baptist. She served in this role as a volunteer for many years before coming on staff in 2018. Jennie married her husband, Bobby, in August of 2003. They have six children: Tess, Timothy, Taralyn, Toby, Tori and Titus. Jennie started teaching a weekly church preschool class with her mom while a freshman in college, and has been hooked on children’s ministry ever since.

Carrie Blankenship

Church Administrator

Carrie Blankenship has served as our Church Administrator since February 2016. Carrie is married to Jack Blankenship, who is the Campus Minister at the Winthrop BCM. They have been married since August 2001, and have four children: Caleb, Noah, Josiah, and Eden. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, especially camping in their pop-up camper with their golden retriever, Aubie.

Janice Indupalli

Musical Worship Director

Janice Indupalli serves as the Musical Worship Director at Park Baptist Church. A member since 2014, she has served in the worship ministry since 2016 on piano and violin. Married to Simeon, she is a mom to Sunaya and Jude. Janice approaches worship leadership as a joyful responsibility, leading with prayer and care as she thoughtfully plans songs and teams to support congregational worship that is shaped by Scripture and centered on Christ.

Patrick Baird

College Pastoral Assistant

Patrick Baird serves as the Pastoral Assistant of College Ministries at Park Baptist Church. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Winthrop University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Most recently Patrick completed Park’s pastoral residency program. Patrick has been a member of park since 2019 and served as a deacon. Patrick is married to Cierra and they have one son, Patterson

Stephanie Forrester

Admin to Sr Pastor

Stephanie Forrester began attending Park Baptist Church in 2017. Stephanie came to know the Lord in 2015, when she first heard Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." She has desired to serve the Lord in vocational ministry since then. Stephanie married her sweet husband in 2018 then they welcomed beautiful daughter, Elizabeth in 2023.
