Elders

Roberto Blanco has served as a Lay Elder at Park Baptist Church since 2022. Roberto met his wife, Berenisse, in college and they were married in September 2012. They have four boys: Elijah, Jacob, Gabriel, and Ezequiel. Roberto and Berenisse agree that serving the church is a privilege and a responsibility, which they welcome and embrace with gratitude.

Simeon Indupalli has been a Lay Elder at Park Baptist Church since 2017. He has been married to his wife, Janice, since October of 2008. They have two children, Sunaya and Jude.

Jerry Parrish has served as a Lay Elder at Park Baptist Church since 2023. Jerry met his wife, Susan, at a church service and they were married in September 1988. They have three grown children, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, and Seth. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys building projects. He attended Clemson University and has a degree in Industrial Engineering.

Rev. Grant Hinson

Associate Pastor/Elder

Grant Hinson is an Elder and Associate Pastor at Park Baptist Church. He joined our staff in 2019. Grant is married to our Women’s Ministry Director, Amber, and together they have four children: Asher, Evan, Adah, and Esther. Grant enjoys spending time with his family and working outside. He also likes to watch Charlotte Hornets basketball and thinks he could be their general manager!

Rev. Daniel Huddleston

Associate Pastor of Administration and Training/Elder

Daniel Huddleston is an Elder and the Associate Pastor for Administration and Training. He served as a Lay Elder for a year before coming on staff in 2022. Daniel married his wife, Jen, in May of 2006. Together they have three daughters: Hannah, Chloe, and Lily. Daniel is currently working on his Master's degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, loves Dodgers baseball, and is an avid night owl.

Rev. John Whiteaker

Assistant Pastor of College and Youth/Elder

John “Whit” Whiteaker is the Assistant Pastor of College and Youth Ministry and an Elder at Park Baptist Church. He joined our staff in 2018 and became an Elder in 2023. Whit has been married to his wife, Jamie, since May of 2016. They have two boys: Levi and Ezra. Whit is a Rock Hill native, and loves spending time outside with his family. He also loves discipling, evangelizing, and has a heart for the nations.

Rev. Victor Rodriguez

Associate Pastor of Hispanic Ministry/Elder

Victor Rodriguez is an Elder and the Associate Pastor of Hispanic Ministry. He joined our staff here at Park Baptist in 2020. Victor has been married to his wife, Eunice, since December of 2004. They have three children: Luis, Adrian, and Ana. In his spare time, Victor enjoys spending time with his family, watching basketball, and supporting his wife's pottery business.

Carrie Blankenship

Church Administrator

Carrie Blankenship has served as our Church Administrator since February 2016. Carrie is married to Jack Blankenship, who is the Campus Minister at the Winthrop BCM. They have been married since August 2001, and have four children: Caleb, Noah, Josiah, and Eden. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, especially camping in their pop-up camper with their golden retriever, Aubie.

Amber Hinson is our Women’s Ministry Director here at Park Baptist Church. She has served in this position for us since August of 2022. Amber is married to Grant Hinson, our Associate Pastor. They have been married since June 2007 and have four children: Asher, Evan, Adah, and Esther. Amber is a Nurse Practitioner and is currently working as the Coordinator at a local women’s shelter. One of her greatest joys is serving the underserved alongside her family.

Jennifer Hollingsworth

Facilities Coordinator

Jennifer Hollingsworth has served as the Facilities Coordinator since 2021 after having been a member of Park for several years. Jennifer is a wife and mother to four kids. She loves people and her dog.

Michael Díaz

Pastoral Assistant- Hispanic Ministry

Michael Andre Díaz is a Pastoral Assistant for the Hispanic Ministry here at Park Baptist Church. He joined our staff in 2023, the same year he married his lovely bride, Jemima Dávila. Michael graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Natural Science from the University of Puerto Rico and his Master’s of Arts in Theological Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jennie Shellenberger

Children’s Ministry Director

Jennie Shellenberger is the Children’s Ministry Director at Park Baptist. She served in this role as a volunteer for many years before coming on staff in 2018. Jennie married her husband, Bobby, in August of 2003. They have six children: Tess, Timothy, Taralyn, Toby, Tori and Titus. Jennie started teaching a weekly church preschool class with her mom while a freshman in college, and has been hooked on children’s ministry ever since.

Pastoral Residents

Samuel Boppuri has been a Pastoral Resident at Park Baptist since August 2022, moving here from India to complete his residency and degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Samuel has been married to Vijaya since May 2005 and they have two children: Shane and Shireen. Samuel and Vijaya love having friends over at their house and enjoy delicious Kheema Biryani!

Grant Ketron began serving as a Pastoral Resident at Park Baptist Church in the Fall of 2023, coming from North Carolina to complete our residency program. He has been married to his wife, Maria, since May of 2019. Grant graduated from Liberty University in 2019 with his B.S. in Pastoral Leadership and has since gone back for his M.A. in Christian Ministries and M.Div. in Homiletics.

Jay Camp became a Missions Resident in the Fall of 2023, after having been a member of Park Baptist Church for many years. Jay has been married to his wife, Kristen, since October 2021. Their first child, a son named Josiah, was born in 2023. Jay loves to read, watch movies, play video games, be outside, and discuss deep topics with friends. He and Kristen are preparing to go overseas to serve local churches.
